This is the first year in quite a few that BCSC has allowed students from out of the district to enter as "transfer tuition" students. There are actually two tuition levels due to the availablity of State support provided per student.
1. Transfer students who are not merely registered, but have been accepted (based on classroom availability) by Sept. 12 pay tuition of $648/year.
2. Students accepted after Sept. 12 pay $6,237/year.
The State provides financial support for every student on the official enrollment count day - Sept. 17. BCSC receives no financial support from the State for any student enrolling after that date, hence the large difference in tuition.
