The $2 million being cut from the BCSC budget is a reduction in State support directly to the General Fund. Briefly, the major funds and the areas they support are:
General Fund - staff salaries, utilities and supplies
Capital Projects Fund - building repairs and maintenance, utilities and technology
Transportation Fund -bus maintenance, repair and salaries
Bus Replacement Fund - purchase of buses
Debt Service - payment of construction debt
Preschool - salaries and supplies
Pension Bond Fund - payment of teacher
