The $2 million in cuts from the State, which BCSC was notified of in December, begin to impact the BCSC budget this month. Deeper, additional cuts are being made right now and will continue to be made throughout the year. Those decisions cannot wait for input from the EnVision Commission.
The financial picture for schools will not improve in the foreseeable future, so the work of the Envision Commission will be to address the future of our schools and programs.
