Why can't the average students get a push and be challenged much like the High Ability students?

According to the Brownsburg Schools' mission statement, BCSC "will provide academic opportunities for all students to pursue their maximum intellectual potential". There are a variety of ways that commitment is pursued and reinforced:
1. Teachers are provided professional development opportunities for integrating differentiated instruction into their curriculum.
2. New teachers are required to attend the Teacher Academy sessions spread throughout the year.
4. Schools use common planning time for cross-curricular and team planning.
5. BCSC is in a constant curriculum mapping process that provides opportunity for teachers to seek where rigor may be lacking and to increase the rigor and relevance of curriculum.

If a student does not feel challenged, then parents should contact the guidance office at their school.
