Only Avon has a younger staff average. That same IDOE data indicates that Brownsburg's average teacher salary ranks 191 of 294 or $46,900 compared to a state average of $49,600. On the other hand, the Indiana Education Employment Relations Board (IEERB) maintains salary information for all Indiana school teachers by experience level. Of the 224 school districts reporting, beginning Brownsburg bachelors-level teachers rank 7th and beginning masters'-level teachers rank 16th, which would place BCSC teacher salaries, at those levels of experience, in the top 10% of the state.
