How will the middle school related arts classes be affected by the budget cuts?

The Related Arts schedule at the middle school will be adjusted for the 2011-2012 school year, so that students spend less time in those classes allowing more time in the core classes of language arts, math, science and social studies. Students will still have the choice of band, choir or orchestra and will still take Gateway to Technology, art, physical education and health during middle school. The finer details of the schedule have not been completed at this time. The goal is to have the schedule finalized by sixth grade orientation.
