Is it true that asst. principals will be going back into the classroom to help make smaller class sizes?

Administrative cuts are being considered at every level, but until the Board has acted on any administrative change the Grapevine cannot confirm any speculation. Once the Board has taken action, then that information will be shared publicly.

Smaller class sizes, however, are a priority expressed by the community through the work of the EnVision Commission. To achieve that a number of budget reductions across all areas including staff, program, support services, utilities, technology, etc. are being considered and implemented. BCSC is struggling with a $3-4 million reduction in budget and working very hard to make reductions that will not adversely affect our students and their academic achievement.
