For the most part, BCSC has made few recent changes in transportation. We consider that operation to be relatively lean with changes that have been made in the past few years - increasing walking districts, implementing "one child, one seat," reducing bus stops where practical and safe for students, and further delaying bus purchases, for example.
As we continue to grapple with budget issues, all areas are being scrutinized for additional cost savings, including transportation.
