As reported in the Indianapolis Star on Thurs., June 10, the superintendent candidate the Board hoped to vote on and introduce on Wed. June 9, decided the contract was unsatisfactory, thus the Board rescinded their offer.
Because there were other very highly qualified and capable candidates for the position, the Board began the process again. That announcement will be made as soon as a contract is signed and the Board has the opportunity to vote in a special-called meeting. We hope to be able to bring a new superintendent to the BCSC and the community very soon.
