Is there a chance elementary special programs or bus transportation may be cut to save money?

There is no immediate plan to eliminate special area classes from the elementary program, nor is there a plan to eliminate transportation. However, all options must remain on the table until we see how much deeper state budget cuts and property tax reductions may go. As the Envision 20/20 Commission looks at the programs of all of our schools, it will help us to prioritize the programs we have with the available dollars.
