The only outcome the Board has in mind is to find a way to align the education of the students of this community with the available resources. Without solid alignment between the school system and its community,that effort will not likely be successful. The Commission is being created to answer these primary questions:
What does our community want its schools to be?
What are the long term consequences, both good and bad, of the choices available to our community?
What is the plan for getting the resources of our school system and the educational expectations of the community to intersect?
The Commission (which is still seeking members) will be a representative body of the community, and will utilize every available means to provide all community members a voice in the process.
