With the new age restrictions for drivers licenses and more parents driving their students to school, what will Brownsburg do to help the flow of traffic in the mornings?

The BCSC has put into place two programs that are intended to increase the safety of high school students and minimize traffic issues.

One is the drop off and pick up plan discussed in an earlier post this month, which we are confident will reduce traffic issues once everyone follows it.

Secondly, BCSC offers free transportation from home to school and back again for students outside of the one mile walking zone. School buses are among the safest, most convenient and most dependable forms of transportation for students. They also significantly reduce the amount of peak vehicular traffic, the corresponding toxic emissions and infrastructure wear and tear.
