Now that full day kindergarten is completely funded, will the families that paid for it this year receive a partial refund as was mentioned as a possibility last year?

The funding level for 2011-2012 full day kindergarten (FDK) did not increase, so there will be no refunds.

Although the legislature did approve additional funding for 2012-2013 it is still not quite completely funded by the state. However, given the benefit and importance the BCSC places on FDK, it is enough funding for BCSC to offer it at no charge to parents next year.
