Why has job shadowing been cancelled at the 8th grade level? Will students be excused if they have a school day job shadow opportunity?

Curriculum and programs are always being evaluated to maximize the efficacy and quality of time spent in the classroom. And while BCSC believes there is educational value in shadowing a profession, that is easily something that can take place outside of the school day or when school is not in session.
