That is what is being proposed, primarily for two reasons:
1. Sustained, frequent professional development allows teachers the time they need to learn new information and strategies.
2. It also provides consistency in scheduling for parents and students.
This is currently just a proposal and no decision or recommendation to the Board will be made until Dr. Snapp has had the opportunity to discuss with parents in a series of meetings.
