There are two primary reasons that hiring is still taking place:
1. As enrollment increases, primarily for the new fee-based kindergarten and pre-school programs, it is necessary to hire teachers to accommodate those children.
2. Some teachers have resigned and thus, are being replaced.
This close to the start of school it is important to move the interviewing and hiring as quickly as reasonable, in order to find the most highly qualified candidate for the position.
