No, you should not be concerned that your child will not be ready for first grade. Every kindergarten student receives instruction in the required Indiana academic standards for kindergarten. However, the benefit of the full day fee-based program is that those students will receive deeper interaction with those standards. All students will be taught for first grade readiness; however, it is fair to write that those students who receive the additional instruction will be more ready.
