The YMCA program is at Delaware Trail so that it can utilize the facilities of two schools if necessary. It also reduces the busing necessary to move children to the YMCA program.
Having the program in the Delaware/Cardinal complex also makes it possible to move the YMCA program to Cardinal if the Delaware Trail facility is being used for another program. Thus, if Doughnuts for Dads is being held at Delaware Trail, the YMCA program could be held at Cardinal(or vice versa). It seems to work very well for the monthly All-Pro Dads meetings before school at Delaware Trail.
This will be even simpler next year when Mrs. Hicks coordinates both buildings'facility use.
