Occasionally the district receives requests to transfer a child to another building. Those requests always go through the Associate Superintendent, Jan Viars, and the decision is based on two things: 1. a compelling need by the family and 2. availability of space in order to maintain balance among schools and grade levels.
Should the request be granted, the child would still ride the same bus, but be shuttled to the new school.
