Does BCSC pay for the school Board members’ insurance?

BCSC does not pay for school board member's insurance. State law sets the school board members salary at $2,000 per year plus an optional per diem for meetings. Our Board members do not accept the per diem for meetings and thus are paid only the $2000 per year.
